I’m a wealth manager. Years ago I worked for the largest financial firm on the Street. I saw what went on behind the curtains. I didn’t agree with it, so I left, started my own firm and continue to work with wealthy individuals and families.
I don’t think Wall St. and the financial press are doing you any favors. I think most of the financial advice out there today, some that is starting to become accepted as “common sense” by the masses, is, in fact, extremely detrimental. Seeing as I can only work with a certain number of clients, I started this blog, that anyone can read, to add my voice to the discussion. I feel a sense of urgency to offer my perspective. I think times are changing faster and faster, and the need for good advice and better solutions, devoid of any conflicts of interest, is more important now than ever.
So, this is my attempt to sound a clarion call, to urge you to think about things differently, to be better informed of other options that you might have never considered. I hope you find it helpful. Thanks for reading!
